This third degree pentagram ring features a simple design with a slightly elongated, slender version of the pentagram. It begins with a hand-carved wax model which is cast in 925 sterling silver through a process called 'lost wax casting', and then polished by hand and with small tools.

As one advances through the world of Wicca, from darkness or unknowing to spiritual light, progress is marked by general 'degrees'. There are a total of four degrees, so the 'Third Degree' refers to a more advanced stage of Wicca, achieved only after years of conscientious study and practice.
